Estuvimos sólo un día en Rennes y tuvimos la posibilidad de conocer a Marie y a su hermosa familia que nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad y simpatía. La casa es hermosa; la habitación y el baño son enormes y dan al jardín. La decoración es muy bella y se pueden ver los cuadros que la misma Marie ha pintado puesto que es una artista. Reservamos el hotel sin saberlo y cuando la conocimos nos dimos cuenta de su gran sensibilidad y sencillez. La mesa del desayuno parecía puesta para reyes!! Con la delicadeza que supongo que caracteriza a Marie !!Si pasan por Rennes no dejen de visitarlo!!

« Hôte charmante, logement calme et agréable, invitant à la détente, décorations de goût et originale. Lit confortable, salle de bain (commune) spacieuse et petit déjeuner personnalisé. Le grand plus de cette chambre d'hôte est l'accueil doux et chaleureux de Marie qui nous met à l'aise dès le passage du portail. Mon fils Loric (7 ans) qui m'accompagnait dit : 3 étoiles pour Marie! »

Très belle demeure bien située dans RENNES, à proximité de belles promenades (parc, demeures anciennes, centre ville, ...). Petit déjeuner dans la bibliothèque dans un décor agréable et romantique. Le tout avec un accueil chaleureux et de bons conseils quant aux visites. A voir et à revoir.

My husband and I plus our four year old daughter stayed at Castle Jolly for one night on our way to Benodet. The place couldn't be better being just few minutes walk from the center. The house feels very homely and is tastefully decorated. My daughter loved the house pet bunny running around the garden and in the house. The bedroom was big and lovely with very comfortable bed and lovely big en-suit bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with pancakes, choice of granola or musli, baguette, lovely spreads and few other nice things. Marie was very welcoming and thoughtful. We were offered to join her and some other guests to have some wine and to watch Football Worldcup Final but as we are not football fans we gave it a miss. We definitely be coming back when in Rennes again.

Wederom een topspot gevonden in de locatie van Marie. Haar huis was heel mooi en comfortabel. Alles lekker ruim en warm ingericht, echt een luxe thuisgevoel. Haar gastvrijheid en enthousiasme maakte het tot een droomplekje!! Het ontbijt was super lekker en ongekend uitgebreid. Absoluut een aanrader wanneer je in de prachtige stad Rennes wilt verblijven. We konden onze auto parkeren op het afgesloten binnenterrein, wel fijn als je volgepakt bent. De tuin was een onverwachte plus. Heerlijke muziekje op de achtergrond, overal aan gedacht. Wij komen zeker een keertje terug!

Marie est très accueillante, très gentille. Moment délicat, chambre charmante et calme. Petit déjeuner servie est vraiment bon, préparé avec attention! Vraiment je recommande! J'y reviendrai très bientot d'ailleurs.

Marie is an excellent host. Couldn't be more helpful and showed us the best places to visit in our short time in Rennes. The house is amazing and in a great central location, with parking. Highly recommended. Would love to visit again .

Marie hat uns sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen, die Atmosphäre ist offen, das Haus wirklich speziell. Wenn wir wieder nach Rennes gehen würden, dann würde ich sicher wieder diese Wohnung buchen. Merci Marie pour tous!

Excellent séjour passé dans une magnifique maison pleine de charme. Super accueil de la famille Jolly, on s'y sent comme chez des amis. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dès notre prochain passage à Rennes!

Marie's place was so lovely. Everything feels very relaxing and luxurious. The breakfast is also extremely good. Even as someone who just finished biking 1000km across France, I couldn't eat everything provided with the add-on breakfast. She is also a very kind and caring hostess.

Marie nous a reçus très chaleureusement dans sa belle maison. L'ambiance cosy, confortable et décontractée est pimentée d'une touche arty. La chambre dispose de tout ce qu'il faut avec un bon lit et une grande salle de bain partagée, petit déjeuner parfait ! Castel Jolly est bien situé dans la ville, on peut y garer sa voiture et Marie nous a gentiment prêté des vélos. Nous avons apprécié toutes ses petites attentions et nous la remercions. D'ailleurs, nous y retournerons !

Marie is a wonderful host. She is warm, gracious and kind. I enjoyed my visit to Rennes and Dinan and especially enjoyed my stay at Marie's house. The room was clean and very comfortable; the bathroom is like being at a spa! I would highly recommend Marie's house to anyone looking to stay in Rennes.

I really enjoyed my stay in Castel Jolly. It is a very characterful house and a luxurious room and bathroom. Marie was exceptionally welcoming, and made made me feel very at home after working hard on each day of my trip. Sadly, I didn't have time to explore more of the town of Rennes, but what I saw of the centre was charming, and the house is right near a lovely park.

C'est comme à la maison en mieux...l'accueil, la chambre et l'emplacement... the place place to go in Rennes pour y aller et pour y revenir... En famille, en amoureux ou pour les affaires, nous avons fait les 3.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in Rennes at the end of a 3-week vacation in Amsterdam, Normandy and Brittany. This beautiful B & B was one of the highlights of our trip.
It was a "plus" to find free, gated parking inside a courtyard filled with roses and other blooming plants. Marie, our hostess, greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel welcome with her big smile. She showed us to our very spacious room with a wonderful view of her garden. The bathroom has to be one of the largest France, with both a full tub and full separate shower and two sinks.
Their home is beautifully appointed and filled with Marie's artwork. We also enjoyed getting to know their pet Angorra rabbit who hopped all over the house. Breakfast, served in the library looking out onto the backyard with its purple wisteria -- was delicious. Great bread, pastries and coffee or tea.
The wifi was the best we experienced on our trip, especially in our room.
Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know Marie and her husband, Alain, along with their son, Arthur. We came as guests, but we left as friends and know we will stay in touch with them.
