    Great location - easy walk in to the centre. We were able to park on their secure drive - an added bonus. Good side bedroom and large bathroom. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely breakfast provided too.

    Maison typique de Rennes proche du centre rénovée avec goût. Chambre très bien décorée, literie confortable. Petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Tout était parfait.

    Wirklich sehr schön und individuell eingerichtet. Hat etwas von einem Boutique Guest House und die Inhaberin führt das Haus mit viel Liebe.

    Très bon service, très bon petit déjeuner; emplacement idéal. Ne rien changer!
    Tout était parfait. Très bon accueil: Marie et Alain ont sû nous mettre très vite à l'aise. La chambre est immense, luxueuse, confortable où tout est prévu. Excellent petit déjeuner.

    Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Sehr persönlich und familiär! Marie und Alain waren sehr herzlich und haben mich sehr willkommen geheißen! Ein traumhafter Einstieg in die Bretagne!

    Marie was so friendly and hospitable. Her house and garden are beautiful. On arrival we were offered a coffee in the garden. The room was tastefully furnished, the beds very comfy and the bathroom large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was €9 euros extra per person but well worth the cost. The house is close to the attractions of Rennes, a town definitely great to visit. Parking is possible off the street.

    Brilliant. Unfortunatley my wife has had loads of ideas for our home :-( More work for me.........
    The whole place was as per the photos. The room was massive, as was the bathroom. The building was so comfortable, it was like going home (quite a posh one!). Clean well lite & the garden was lovely. It was a bit 'old' world even the slightly squeaky floor seemed right. If I pass again a defo place I would stop. I recommend this to anyone. Oh parking was in the building behind secured gates.

    The greeting which we received from Marie on our arrival, huge room with large en suite facilities. Complimentary Wi-Fi, and parking for the car which was included in the price. A lovely place to stay.

    Très belle maison avec beau jardin, idéalement située dans un quartier calme est proche du centre historique de Rennes. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans Castel Jolly. Marie est une hôte parfaite, très accueillante, présente en tout moment .
    La chambre est chaleureuse, et le petit déjeuner délicieux !!!
    Nous espérons retourner à Rennes et ce sera chez Marie que nous prendrons la chambre !!

    A beautiful property sympathetically furnished and provides an excellent base for any trip
    Marie is a maverlous host and coupled with the traditional surrounding makes for a wonderful experience. 10/10 and look forward to coming again.

    Adresse MERVEILLEUSE, à voir absolument !
    Nous avons énormément apprécié la gentilesse de la propriétaire, très prévenante sans être invasive. Les chambres sont tout simplement somptueuses, et le petit déjeuné FABULEUX ! Mille merci encore pour ces quelques jours merveilleux. La possibilité de garer la voiture dans la cour est pratique compte tenu de la situation en centre ville de Rennes.

    Le paradis rennais
    Tout! l'accueil est parfait, le lieu sublime, décoré avec énormément de goût. La maîtresse de maison est adorable et aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est pantagruélique et délicieux. Des produits frais et haut de gamme, des oeufs à la demande, des crêpes maison, des fruits frais et du jus, tous les thés possibles et imaginables pour les amateurs. La literie est hyper confortable. Le lit est immense. La salle de bains superbe, grande, fonctionnelle. Tout est fait pour se sentir merveilleusement bien et ne jamais vouloir repartir.

    Superb place to stay and ideally situated a short walk from the town centre. Marie was very friendly and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met. She was always ready with a smile. The house is beautiful and our bedroom and adjoining bathroom were both luxurious, uniquely furnished and spacious. We felt relaxed and as if we were home away from home. Breakfast was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the local cheese, fresh orange juice and coffee. Thanks for a great stay!

    Castel Jolly is a little oasis in the city of Rennes. We were only there one night but the room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Marie is warm and welcoming! Time your stay so that you can visit the magnificent Saturday open market.

    The room and especially the bathroom were very tasteful and fabulous. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We liked the garden very much - and got to know Piu (the hilarious rabbit). We appreciated the free and secure parking. Overall an extremely enjoyable and pleasant stay! Merci beaucoup, Marie!

    A great stay
    The large property is decorated in a unique, modern and quirky style, spotlessly clean with a lovely garden. The owner, Marie, is a wonderful host – warm and friendly. A great place!
